INSURANCE PLANS
We boast the best Workers Compensation Group Insurance Program offered by the State Compensation Insurance Fund. The SCBA is a member of the Golden State Builders Exchanges (GSBE), the largest construction industry organization in California. The GSBE unites local Builders Exchange located throughout California with State Compensation Insurance Fund in an alliance designed to improve workplace safety and lower insurance premiums for over 20,000 GSBE firms. Upon meeting State Fund criteria, access to our Group 497 is available to you. With membership in our group, State Fund is currently offering 6% discount on your workers comp premium. This is a "Win Win" service. 

TRAINING
Training classes with speakers and topics on a variety of construction and business related issues are presented for the entire membership. Members are often asked to participate as speakers in their area of expertise. Click here to view our class schedule.

NEWSLETTER
The Punch List published monthly, provides our members with news and trends affecting the construction industry. Member companies are often highlighted.

CODE CONSULTANT
Chuck Daleo, CBO has been retained to answer members questions on any Code-Related matters that can occur during the course of construction, whether in the plan check or building stages. LEGISLATIVE LIAISON
The Association is affiliated with a group that has retained Norwood & Pedrotti to keep them abreast of any workers compensation legislation and it's status. This information is passed on to the members through the monthly newsletter. Oftentimes, the association will take a stand and contact the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), and city and county entities.

REFERRAL SERVICE
The CSLB refers the general public in need of reputable contractors to the SCBA. We in turn refer our members to the person making the inquiry. 

MEMBERS REFERRING MEMBERS
SCBA members refer each other to other business associates in the construction field.
