Dear S.C.B.A. Members:
It's that time again!
During the month of February through the end of April, employers are required to post their Cal/OSHA Annual Summary for the previous calendar year. Further, you should have completed the OSHA 300 Log for 2009 and retain it for your permanent records.
Attached you will find an electronic copy of the format you need to use. Once you have filled this form out, be sure to post it in your workplace, where it can be observed by your employees. Make sure you only post the Annual Summary, not the Log, as the log has employee names that may need to be kept confidential.
If any of you need to have information regarding last year's losses, feel free to contact the State Compensation Insurance Fund and ask for last year's Loss Run. They will be happy to provide you with a loss run (s) which spans last calendar year, of those losses that you turned into the insurance company.
Or contact your insurance agent to obtain loss run(s) that address the full calendar year.
Thank you.
